i run JLT single and check it every 5k miles on oil changes. i get a little over ounce in it. For normal daily driving, think the JLT is a better value

Absolutely with room to spare to unthread and drop the can to remove off the truck. Just need to remove the dipstick first.

At 55,555 miles nothing was showing on either dipstick.

Sure, though that is a not why Radium has two cans.

For those MT guys that are interested, I managed to work a solution for having the Radium dual-catch can setup in my MT truck.
    20230101_145637.jpg

I had a buddy modify the clutch reservoir bracket. All he did, was weld it to a small piece of sheet metal and drill a hole so I should attach it to the bracket just above the fuse box. I got some new hose (You need about 24-28 inches) to run from the reservoir to the port on the firewall.

This setup has worked really well - I really like the quality of the radium catch cans.

For anyone that has a Magnuson Supercharger, of note is that the recommended length of the CCV lines to and from the CCV catch can need to be longer (about 46-48 inches) than what they recommend in the directions, due to hoses having to go around the supercharger upper/lower manifold.

    20230101_145625.jpg

Also of note with the supercharger, the upper/lower manifold also inhibits the CCV valve cover vent hose connection by creating such an angle the hose will kink. I used the original hose that has the 90 degree bend in it, cut it after the bend and used a 5/8" to 5/8 inch brass barbed coupler with the Radium CCV hose.
    20230101_144400.jpg

One last thing I had to deal with, is my Redline hood struts. I used 22mm spacers on the dual catch can bracket to make enough space between the cans/bracket and the hood strut (note the first image).

Again, I am very happy with the dual catch can setup from Radium and although it took a little extra work I'm glad I was able to make it all work with my setup.

    - Jeremy

Nice! I have been waiting to get one due to me having a MT. Your solution is great, I also think you could mount it where a lot of people mount ARB compressors/2nd batteries on the passengers side of the engine bay.

I own jtl catch can .just want to mention if you have any maintenance they recommend on your catch can, for example my jtl says to clean filters on catch can every 10k miles. Do it . I thought I blew my rear main seal , well kinda did . I had a slight leak from rear main seal. So I did research and troubleshooting. Narrowed it down to my oil catch can filter . Took light to it and I could barely see through the dual screens . After all said and done I switched to high mileage moble1 to help any seals get reconditioned and miraculously the leak has stopped , fingers crossed. I'm at 188k + miles 3.5L 20221204_133320.jpg 20221204_133308.jpg
I was able to get it completely clean. Kept using air compressor and parts cleaner . I'm not gonna lie I've had that thing on for 4+ yrs never cleaned it thoroughly. So please take this as a lesson learned on my own ignorance. Jtl even states in their instructions CLEAN EVER 10K MILES .

Fyi my screens on there were almost completely plugged. Which made sense why rear main seal was producing a slight leak. Oil pressure gotta go somewhere lol dumb lesson learned. Even being mechanical inclined you can forget some stuff at times.

You are right, there is definitely plenty of room on the passenger side. I considered using a Rivnut tool to mount the bracket on the passenger side, but the dual catch can bracket has an angle to it since the clutch reservoir bolt locations are at an angle. I didn't want to attempt trying to bend the dual catch can bracket (the craftmanship is too nice!) so sticking with the clutch reservoir location is what I went with.

So @eurowner it’s been almost two months. How’s that second can looking compared if you just ran a single. Still debating on getting on and if your second can is still empty I might just go with the JLT (or whatever ut is) single.

Does anyone have any updates on how much these cans are collecting? I’ve had a set in for about 300 miles and haven’t noticed anything, not even condensation.

So I gotta ask because I don't know...what is the purpose and is it needed?
