Because I'd rather shop local than buy on-line I looked at Lowes, Home depot, and 2 local hardware stores... none of them had anything like a t slot nut. Looking on-line at those stores for strut threaded inserts didn't produce anything either.

A quick google search for "strut threaded inserts" came up with this for @Admiral_Akbar though:

Not sure if it is the correct dimensions, but looks like it would be close.

It's not powder coated unitstrut. And spring nuts don't work correctly on the rolled lip of the bed rail. You can get em to bite, but it's mostly corner to opposite corner. So it's only bearing on two points.

It’s cheaIf you do not want to pay ~$200+ for the OEM bed rail system then a cheaper alternative is to use electrical Unistrut. It is virtually the same as the OEM bed rails except it is a little wider and i believe stronger.

    Rails-Unistrut

3 sticks of 10' long Unistrut from a local hardware store: Link to website
    3@$16.34 = $49.02

    Installation Hardware
    (12) M6 x 1
    (12) 1/4" fender washers

    Mounting Hardware

3/8” Unistrut channel nuts: Link to website
3/8” Hex Head Bolts (length depends on what your attaching)
    3/8” Lock Washers
    3/8” Fender Washers

[IMG]p version of unistrut minus the spring on the spring nut same principle.

Inconel because I'm going to TIG weld some ENiCrFe-7 eye slip hooks onto an Inconel bracket I fabbed in the shop. I don't want any cross contamination with any Carbon or Low carbon alloys parts. I have access to inconel blocks at BWXT where I work that i can machine into the inserts but was wondering if they're available for sale first before I waste time machining.

That's not what op was asking for. He has the bed rail already.
