Anyone else have back issues and hate their seats?
Well I did, until now. I knew their had to be a way to raise the rear of the seats so it didn't make you feel like you were scrunched in the hips which causes me hip pain and leg pain after long drives. I have a couple of bulging discs from accidents. Well this guy R. Brown at 4crawler.com has a kit that works perfect and only costs a few dollars.
look him up if this is one of those things that you don't like about your truck. Mine is a 2014 dcsb, works amd took 10 minutes.

Just curious if you find that the center console armrest or the door armrest feels too low after intalling the seat lift? I feel it is low already so a lift would make worse...but might be worth it to bring the back of the seat up.

I have only had my truck about a month and that is my biggest complaint! I will definitely be looking into this. I am also 5'10"" so it sounds perfect to me!

Matt thanks for this info! Did you use his 1" kits or his 2" kits? I am 5'10" and trying to decide. My wife is 5' flat and is having a lot of issues and I am considering 2" on passenger side for her...

    Thanks!

I have the opposite problem. I always feel like I am slowly sliding forward until I am slouching and have to reposition myself to sit up with my hips back into the seat back. I'd like to raise the front of the seat so I don't slide forward anymore. Doesn't look like it can be done the way the front bolts to the floor horizontally. Not without a specialized bracket of some sort anyway.

I installed two sets of these both 1" on each side last weekend. Love the difference and am glad I stayed with 1" on both sides. 2" would have been too much!

I'm ordering a set of these for my driver seat. The sr5 seats sit very low in the rear. Definitely makes my lower back hurt. Do you guys recommended the 1" or 2" spacers? 1" seems good but 2" would make the seat almost level. Just not sure how it would feel.

I thought I would want 2" but am very glad I went with 1". I am 5'10" and 2" would have been way to much. I would try 1" if worse comes to worse order another set of 1" and ask him to send you bolts for 2" spacers.

I think so! Also remember that you are changing the amount of head room and you may need to adjust the steering wheel as well. Still I like this mod a lot and am very glad I did it!

I installed a 1" set this morning, love it, now I don't feel like my but is sagging in a 5gal bucket, let alone my sore back and right leg.

This is an awesome mod. Highly recommend. I'm 5ft9" and purchased the 1". Much more comfortable ride.

Hello. I just want to be sure. Everyone here have just lift the back of the seat ? I really need to lift my seat, my back hurt so much. I see some of you are satisfied with the 1 inch ( only on the back ) i guess.
And if someone have the dimension.. like the diametre, the size of the bolt etc.. Im a machinist so i will make some in stainless steel. Thanks !!

Thanks. I will figure it out. Can’t wait to try this. I have a manual transmission so i need a confortable position and its impossible with the original seat setup!
