With this info, I now may buy a Tacoma. Just hoping Toyota will wise up and offer a seat height adjustment in the '19's

Thanks for posting, I have a 2014 AC. I will checking to see the way the rear of the seat is attached. I am like you, back and leg pain. I also wanted better visibility. I hope my seats bolt on, if so, you just made another sale for Mr. Brown.

Two bolts hold it on in the back. The spacer from 4crawler comes with 2 longer bolts. (Grade 5 I think)

I did this today, 1.5 inch lift. After driving thirty miles, I like it. Hint: loosen the front bolts somewhat, it makes centering the rear bolts easier. As you raise the rear, it changes the angle of the bolt entry. A little loose in the front will help that.
@genequit said, "Best mod ever". I think that may be exactly true.

One uncovered and one covered. Barely noticeable when covered.

My right leg would also get numb.

What helped me, after sitting more upright in full size trucks for 30yrs, was to get used to sitting back a little since it's a sport seat that angles back. Not easy for an old fart, but I'm getting there shifting around to get things right. Adjusting the lumbar helped as well on long trips. The one inch spacer helped more than I thought it would.

I like that I see higher up the hood than before, and raised the mirror, such a better view now.

Here’s a curve ball, anyone put them in the front? I like a bend in my knee.

However, I have back issues off and on very much like what’s describe above, and their remedy is to put them in back. Hmm.

Curious about this too. I have been thinking I need spacers in the front and now this comes up in a thread.

It would be hard to do. You need to custom fabricate some sort of mount. Take a look how the seat is mounted in the front.
