Perfect.. let me know when you get them in. You're talking about overlay on all the chrome letters around the truck right?? So instead of removing and plasti-dip or replacing I will be able to overlay the chrome with say flat black? ?

 

Yes, but with the edges of the chrome still visible.

 

I have them, they look waaaaay better than just vinyl inserts

 

I just bought these exact ones. Very happy with the look and quality.

 

My only concern on the raised ones is it would be harder to wax around them.

 

Much easier than waxing around all the emblems already on the vehicle

 

I've had the raised set on mine for a year now, they hold up great against daily abuse, pressure washes, and even getting ice chipped off of them. When it finally warms up I'll be vinyl wrapping the lower inset portion of the tailgate black, and removing the raised letters so I have blue text on a black background. Whether you go with rrentrop's flat vinyl or these raised ones, it really helps out the aesthetic of the rear profile and gives depth.

 

Got some of the matte black, raised (not the gel) letters coming Saturday, stoked to put them on! Gotta hold out til spring even though its hitting 60s in MN today, need that consistent warm weather for a good bond on those and plasti-dipping the grille black.

I have @rrentrop reflective letters in black and love them.. its weird when people that have LED head lights the letters are totally gold reflective at night it's not subtle.
