Damn this thing is Shiney when it's cleaned up a little.

 

I took a piece of lattice and stuck a stake on it so it would stand up right. Put it in the ground next to my cans and it created a 'screen'. Never had a complaint. Actually, have had neighbors ask for one for their own so they could get their cans out of the garage...

 

I changed mine at 262k, because it's never been changed. Everything else at regular intervals at dealer. Because they said it didn't need it.

I bought it with 254k on it, drove it thought wtf, it's only a transmission.
Changed it using the same Valvoline MaxLife Tim mentioned.
Pan was absolutely clean, minor metal particulate on the 6 magnets in the pan. I've seen a hell of a lot worse on GM vehicles with 35-50k on them.
As far as shift feel, nothing really changed.

I didn't have any paper work. I was putting lattice around my deck so I had the materials already lying around.

Lattice is cheap though, like $10 for a 6 foot sheet. I used a property marker for my stake

 

..idk, I've been told this HOA is very strict by our rental company.. AFTER we moved in.

Works pretty good if take time to prep really really good, and take time while doing it. And don't expect show car status. These seats were black when new.

 

Winner will it run if it gets wet?

 

Would anyone be interested in helping me take a lift off and install a new lift on a gen 1 some weekend? I don't have to tools or know how to do it on my own yet but I can definitely help when told what to do.

where do you live and what kind of lift are we talking about?

 

Well I live in Boone but I'd drive to any driveway or parking lot that is willing. And we'd be taking off a spacer lift and putting on a bilstein/eibach spring setup up front and a 2 inch rear shackle

Naw it good, ive used before never had a issue (it is basically spray paint I think)
