Has anyone every used or know if Alcan springs are any good?

 

@T4RH33L has manual hubs so no cv axle nut, ADD trucks have the nut, Sway bar link end, 4 bolts bottom of spindle, bottom strut bolt, 3 up top, boom, out, reverse procedure for reassembly.
If struts/springs are not assembled, have that done before hand, cost isn't that much. But you will need to buy top plates and the rubbers if you don't already have them.
Not a tough job really, rust can aggravate the disassembly process.
The biggest gotcha could the be rear lower shock bolts, they can break in the stud and you'll end up drilling or some other creative method of reassembly. The bolts thru the front of the spring eyes are sleeved also, so those may have to be cut out, the rear shackles move in rubber so those come apart ok. You'll end up cutting the center bolt out of the spring pack most likely if you decide on add a leaf.

19mm is equivalent to 3/4" more or less

Thought about it, home Depot didn't have any of the rubber stoppers. I guess I can wait for the slow boat from England or Australia, it's not like I have the rest of the material yet.

 

Pit some POR15 down to cover some surface rust
