I know i'm eventually going to have to use it eventually and i've practiced using it on stuff but those damn high lift jacks will mess you up if you're not careful. My shin hates a high lift jack lol. Firm footing, perhaps use the top ring for a chain or something in case something shifts?

Leaning towards buying a VW GTI used for my DD once my job situation changes. I want something sporty but not a full blown sports car. I bet with a little effort you could make a fun car out of a GTI.

 

You and I are on the same page. I'm buying a GTI as soon as I get the funds to finance one. I had a 2009 6speed a few years ago and that car was so much fun to drive.

 

I had a 92 MK2 back in the day. Great car same deal there was no bells or whistles just fun.

 

Was it stanced and hella flush?

 

Haha I actually showed a buddy of mine yesterday how absurd that looks.

And no, that car was bone stock and still a blast to drive. But, if I buy a new one it's getting an inter cooler, down pipe, tune, and exhaust.

I've told myself I wouldn't lower another car. Had a cobalt I lowered in college and that thing was so rough to drive around. Maybe since I will have the jeep I'll consider it. Not that the jeep rides well either haha. It's rough and rattley even a 2012 haha.

 

Good lowering springs and matching shocks make the biggest difference. The Miata is at least 2-3" lower than stock and im on mid firm on shocks and still rides decent

 

When lowering it is better to go coilover kits b/c they are meant for one another. Or if not that a good eibach spring with a koni yellow shock or something similar.

 

Naw stock shocks cut springs in half or close to it, seen it many times

Couldn't find any stations out here with it yesterday afternoon. That's why I have a Prius for my backup vehicle

 

A TT pulled into the Circle K on atlantic and it looked like the walking dead horde when a fresh body gets thrown at it.

Yea I was young a dumb and just stuck Tenzo springs in there with stock shocks. Those springs were cheapish too.. Bought them while making 5.15/HR
