On a side note I have my stock leaf pack plus the icon AAL I just took off my truck if you're looking 1.5 in lift in the rear, got about 15k on it miles wise on the aal. Would sell for 150, then you could likely turn and sell your stock leaf pack to get some money back on the deal.

Thanks for the tip on the price match - I am going to give them a call later today and see what they can do. I'll think about your leaf offer. How many miles are on your stock leafs that you added the icon to?

any comments on whether it would be feasible to do a cab mount chop prior to getting 33's? or is it better to wait until tires are on
to see how bad the rubbing is.

I mean... technically it wouldn't hurt... but if you do the cab mount chop and weld in the plate, and you still rub (which is unlikely but possible) then you'll be kickin yourself...

How do 'Mod Days' work? I am trying to figure out timing on when to order struts/AAL. I was thinking I would wait until I needed new tires so I could do it all at once. I want to go up to 33s anyway, so the extra lift will be necessary then. I talked to a shop up the road from me and they want $100 a corner for the coilovers. Having a shop install I think immediately takes me out of my budget. So for the Mod Days, is it something that is planned out and everyone meets up with their boxes of parts and everyone works on everybody's or would 1 person just need help and send out a note seeing if anyone could come help out and offer beer/food for the help?

If so - I will gladly supply beer/food for anyone who can come help install whatever I buy when I buy it :cookiemonster:

Round up your truck goodies, when you have them all ready to go just put out an "SOS will bring beer" Mod day request and from what I've seen here on this forum there are a good sized group of guys willing to bust knuckles, learn something, teach you something and drink your beer while helping you out. If I can drop the kids off at marbles hell I might even come help from Greenville.

Has anyone used Henry's Muffler shop in Raleigh (Millbrook rd. location or Capital Blvd)? I went there back in high school and had them put a muffler on my Chevy Cavalier (I was going through some stuff...don't judge me...) and the place I used to install my Nerf bar/Tint/Visors refers people to them still for exhaust work. Was wondering if anyone used them recently to get some price ideas. On a side note - was anyone at the Wake Forest food truck rodeo on Sunday? I saw a nice white Tacoma parked near me that had dual tips out the back and thought about sticking around to get a listen but the wife was ready to go.

Yeah, this is about right lol. normally about 4-5 guys, and sometimes the wonderful females show up (@Dragonslady). I have no input on the muffler shop. I put on a Magnaflow full catback and loved it. Although the Cavalier comment did make me laugh lol.

It was the best meme I could find for "My bad bro".... hahaha I'm sorry

Yep. That's how Mod days work. Beer. We bring dangerous tools, then we drive the backroads home on untested trucks. It's a blast!

Umm the wheels supposed to look like that?...

How much did that set up cost? Got a model number? How was the sound? As long as it doesn't sound like my old cavalier, I'll be happy.:pout:

Lolol :goingcrazy: Looking forward to it

Well, I did a trade for a satoshi grill that I made. So it only actually cost me about $150. But I think it was supposedly around $500. However, you can get just the muffler and have it sound almost as good lol.
