    Honest feedback fellas...

I need a car to drive around town and to take on long road trips (marketing for my business plus I drive to my home in Texas often).. i want a GTI again but not completely sold due to maintenance expenses. Looking at a Fiesta ST. They are cheap as hell and have good power and great reviews. Lame car? I realize it's small, but that is intentional.

If not the fiesta, then what? I need 4 doors, good mileage, and at least 200hp around the 10k mark.

    Go!

Sorry it took so long, not sure what I'm doing with paint yet. yeah it's pretty straight forward. I bought from ebay and Amazon because free shipping. rock auto has great prices, but the shipping kills it. Fenders, hood, hood hinges, radiator/core support, hood latch, grill, headlight, side markers, and the fill plates for under the headlight. all in all I think it was $450-500, somewhere in there.

Alot of cool stuff out there. But alot of it with a couple years under its belt has experience maintenance, or everything for them so expensive. You can get killer deals on mid 2000 BMW 5 series, but just to experience when something happens

The biggest issue with "euro trash" is the 15k+ service intervals, means nobody really maintains them, they're great the first 100k miles, then lack of maint ( and warranty) takes its toll and shit gets expensive. Then you get a real pretty fun car that is falling apart internally.

I hate that Toyota went to the extended intervals

Yea that's the problem. I've found a couple GTIs that had all the paperwork. Certainly not off the table. I miss my GTI for sure.. I just don't want someone's sloppy seconds

Yep looks good, I have one similar to this. Basically houses all my misc shit, glasses, ear plugs, shotgun chokes, some targets, some ammo, some cleaning supplies etc.

I dont use an ammo box, likely useful if you reload ? maybe

That's not a bad idea, it's all about personal preference. Me, I like hard cases. I have a nice hard box I bought from Fuquay gun and gold that holds all my cleaning supplies, ammo, and flocks. Then I have a drag bag that holds my AR, Remington, and a few mags for the AR.

Already bought it. The bags alone I was looking at were about $40. So when I saw this one came with an ammo can and a pistol case I was all over it. I have looked at Cheaper/Dirt before, some good stuff there!
