I'm going to check them after 50 or so miles. That is the same socket I used when I regularly rotated my tires in my old car and I never had an issue.

Got some rubbing. It was mostly on the front mud flaps. Took them off and it looked weird so I cut them up where it was rubbing. You can't see it when they are back on the truck. Now it is rubbing in 1 spot when I turn it hard to the right on a part of the actual fender. I'll have to cut it tomorrow. Spent enough time on it today.

Side note, the first time I heard tire rub from inside the cabin I had a panic attack that my wheel was taking off...

Double side note, where can I buy those little black plugs that pop in to attach things like the mud flaps and bottom of the bumper. They go in then you push the top down and it flares out three prongs so it can't back out. Broke a couple and found some spots where they've fell out that need to be replaced...

Ok - spent more time trimming to stop the rubbing. I have it mostly nipped now except for extreme right turns, like beyond what you would do for a u-turn. In hindsight I wish I had just removed the front mud flaps until after I got my lift installed (its in the mail) and then retested for rubbing at the new height. No big deal, the trimming isn't noticeable at all, just might've saved myself some blood, sweat, and tears...lesson learned...

On that note. Who would be available to help with my lift possibly late next week(Wakefield/Wake Forest area...I have beer:thumbsup:)? I am putting spacers up front (I know, you don't like them - but they were free so why not?) and AAL in the back. Looks to be a fairly simple process but it would be even easier if I had an extra set of hands (or 2 or 3 of them) and more substantial equipment aside from my stock jack and 'spark plug' sockets:anonymous:...

Hey guys, is 75w140 diff fluid a good idea? Doing my gears this weekend and the tech who is helping said he uses it in jeeps as a "heavy" duty unlike 75w90 as regular duty. He isn't scamming me for more money he just has extra on hand so he is giving it to me.
