    Ok guys, what areas around Durham are good for buying a house? Trying to stay with in 45 min of the city. Forgive my ignorance on the cities, I've only been there once so far...

    The actual city seems to be one street nice, one street ghetto, repeating. Anywhere outside the city will be nice, probably best to just come drive around and see what you're comfortable with. Between Durham and Chapel Hill is nice, but pricey. Brier Creek (RTP) area is lots of foreigner tech/IT workers. North edge is nice, country. Cary and Apex are nice if you want city/town living and not too far.

    Yea I was kinda catching that when I was there but nothing too horrible other than by the train tracks haha. We are looking at the north side as chapel hill did seem ritzy... thanks for the help mang, ill be there early September so hopefully camping and wheeling will start right away!

    The only legal is URE (uwharrie), brown mountain, Richland rd, and some national forest fireworks I know outside Boone/blowing rock.

    I'm so used to driving an hour to get to some awesome trails and only 5 hours away from Moab, gonna be a change for sure but I'm good so long as I can camp and wheel. I'm excited for some of the hunting over there as well
