Good lurd I'm the same way. But adding in the most difficult and time consuming way to do (or install) it

Oh and minus the kale. I've eaten far too much of it in my time of living in hippie land (Asheville). If I never see another kale plant, it will have been too soon

i'm glad its not just me.

had a light fixture on corner of house not working, no ladder tall enough to get to it. Bright idea, pull truck into back yard, set ladder in back of truck ( rocket science so far , what could got wrong.....)

Camper is set up in driveway, JUST enough room to squeeze truck between house and camper end and drive thru gate, just off corner of house is septic tank, don't drive on that, so i back up to corner of house, but i can't get out of truck, box blade and loader for tractor are sitting in dead grass area where pool was last year, which is now right next to drivers door of truck....sigh

Reposition truck just enough to get out, climb my big ass up into bed, truck is positioned in such a way that ladder will either sit flat on house or flat in truck bed, not both.

Figured out that if i lay spare tire (for camper) that rides in bed of truck down and slide it against tool box in truck, ladder will wedge agains tire and wall if house in a reasonably useable fashion.

light now works (turns out it was light switch inside house that had crapped out, who'd thunk ?) and nobody died

and i don't do kale either

Hello, New Tacoma owner here and loving it. Does anyone have any recommendations for a shop in the southern Wake, Johnston Co. area. I'm looking to have a lift installed and some more work sometime down the road.

    Thanks, Joe

@CrakerJames Any interest in installing it yourself? We've got a wealth of knowledge and experience here to help out.

Yea, I thought about it but no time or place and I don't have the patience that I use to have. I'd like to be able to drop it off, go to work and know it's done right when I pick it up, rather it be tires and wheels to suspension work

You should totally get that cut into a giant sticker and put it on each door of the new Miata

For those of you that have camped at Freeman Park, what type of fire pit do I need? Can I just bring some pavers and fashion a fire ring, but a metal fire ring or do I need an actual container that the fire sits in?

Container the fire sits in. I went to Walmart and bought a 29 dollar fire pit that had a fire pan. Don't have to assemble it, just pull the fire pan out and bam. It's a little redneck but it works just fine

Cheapest way to do it from what I could find. Other stores that sold fire pans were 50 plus bucks. I found that Walmart fire pit in the garden section. Surprisingly have had several fires in it and it's still holding up just fine. Some rust but not much.

Nice! I'm stuck in the Charlotte airport waiting on my family. If I get a chance to swing by tomorrow night I will!
