I was if you sold yours to me.. found another deal. I figured the OE's could be resold easily for when I wanted to go bigger, this just stepped up the schedule.

at one time it was cheaper than aluminum, has slightly better heat transfer and more durable than aluminum

almost EVERY vehicle up until about the mid late '80's had a brass radiator, and they were reasonably priced, not so much anymore since copper prices went crazy ( brass is an alloy of copper and zinc )

No, I get that. We have aluminum radiators and as you said, the brass ones haven't been used in years.
I'm thinking back and I think even my '70 nova and 78 G-10 had aluminum, but they may have been a replacement, and the G-10 may have been painted silver.
I think my 79 Corolla may have been brass.. or it was plastic and my memory was copper stop-leak in the opening. :D

No, what I was asking was since you had to patch this one up so often, and it's most likely on a piece of industrial equipment, and the aluminum radiators are cheaper, stronger and lighter. Is there really such an improvement in cooling that justifies staying with the brass?
