    @Blkvoodoo

    I've got 4 cars now in my circle of influence that need various A/C repairs ranging from broken hose (accident) opening system for other repairs (accident), to replacing the big three (compressor, condensor & expansion valve)

    I have no choice, I've got to buy my own tools.
    This looks like the best one on Amazon (1/3 hp, 1/2" hoses)
    Should I go for it, or is there better money on something else?

    Thanks Kev!

    thats actually not a bad price for all that, no idea thew quality, but i guess its all returnable if there are issues.

    look lower on the page where it offers the can tap and 3 cans of r134a, you aren't going to buy 3 for that price at a parts store, usually 12.99 or more for one can. Nd you'll need the can tap anyway

    True. Got the can tap already but your right on the freon. With 4+ cars worth I was wondering if a larger tank would be more economical.

    only if you have a scale to weigh it out, 12oz at a time is easier to dole out, you'll possibly have some waste. many systems are around the 22-24oz, you'll have a hard time getting that out of a 30lb cyl. accurately with out a scale. there is a 6pk for $37 a 30lb cyl is $138

    Also, replace the Schrader valves, they are cheap and a frequent leak point, do it while you have the system open
