    I got something from them last week like that...huge box with almost no "padding" and it just had a 7" chef's knife in it rattling around. That was the first Amazon packaging fail for me...it was on time though

    You don't need to. If you jack up your truck, taking the weight off of the spring you can stick a screw driver in and spread the leaves enough to slip a shim in there.
    I used sliced innertube with some goop on one side. You could have heard me coming a block away, now they are silent.

    Don't quite get this either. Since the bushing isn't supposed to turn within the mount, would grease on the outside of the bushing be any good other than installing the bushing?
    I've seen the zerks on the outside too. But I've also seen hollowed out bolts with grease passages to get grease inside the bushing.
    I suppose it's dependent upon how they are engineered and where the slippage is supposed to occur.

    This is a job for @Blkvoodoo. Professor?
