    My 89 pickup. I have the 3vze, but it lacks power(plus it's about 26 years old with 256k miles on it)

    They said it's not the alignment but one of my tires is bad causing the drift. It was pulling to the right so they swapped the front two tires and then it was pulling to the left, worse than when it was pulling to the right. They are swapping the tires back now.

    Does this make sense? Do I need new tires?

    So essentially that one tire is pulling to the outside? Maybe something with wheel weights? Just my logic, mostly inexperienced brain here lol

    They can't narrow down which of the two is causing the pull. They are now putting the rear tires up front and the fronts on the back to see if that will help. One of the tires is clearly bad. I'm not trying to buy 1 tire. I would assume I should just replace all 4 at once? I don't really want to buy tires at all. The tread is barely worn on these. Any value in 3 good tires that I could mitigate the cost of new ones?

    They are going to bump the caster up to within spec or at least higher than it currently is. They are pretty confident that that isn't what is causing the pull though and it's a bad tire. I still wanted to get my monies worth out of the alignment and I can figure out the tire thing later once I at least get that handled.
