Wendy's took entirely too long. Looked like a couple managers and one normal employee.. You can imagine how well that worked out..

What kind of bait does a kayak go for ? Do you use different bait for white water vs lake kayak?

Bait? I use this kayak for all types of fishing except for faster more whitewater fishing. I use it in the sound, rivers (like the Haw), lakes, surf/ocean.

Yea they are as proud of those kayaks as they are real boats. Holy crap they are expensive. I could get a used Jon boat for the price of a decked out fishing kayak

It depends you can get a Bass Pro house brand Ascend starting at 500 bucks or or so there is also one of the cheapo sun dolphin ones at wallyworld.

I haven't completely rigged mine out yet but yes some of the rigging like getting a powerpole and electronics, etc. get these things up there pretty quick. I will say having paddled the cheap ones or entry level then having this one there is a huge difference in build quality, comfort, and handling.

Shit the Ascend fs12 and Fs12t are good ones and either can be had for under 800 you aren't going to get mine for that price. Mine isn't that nimble it turns pretty decent but it does better in straight lines. The Ascend fs12 is nimble and fairly stable if you have good balance you can stand on it. The fs12t is more like mine but not quite as easy to turn and takes a little more to get it moving just because of it's width.

Well that’s actually not too bad. I was looking at them last year and I was finding a lot of used ones that were 1000 ish and it just baffled me.

Yeah so mine rigged out right now the way I have it everything new is over 2500 used market anywhere from 1500-2000. Those Ascends that BassPro sells are really a good deal and good entry level and/or budget friendly. I like them paddled them a bunch but just wanted to step up to something a little better more features and higher quality + made in US vs made in idk where for the Ascends. It's kind of like buying a Carolina Skiff vs Jones Brothers (if you know skiffs).
