when you going to be able to see if the xfer case fixed the issue?

 

I already knew it would. @Taco_life got the old one out of neutral and into gear and we ran it on the jack stands.

Bet they're easier to take off when it's empty

 

we're hoping, a bunch just rung off.. but all are loose..

 

So how many guys were on the end of that giving it hell to loosen those.

Just one person, it either loosen or broke off... but we did PB blast it for like a week before we attempted removal.

 

Think I'm gonna give up on the Taco and just get one of these

Wait the 2019s may be going back to a V8 or have the option of a V8 or the ecopoop. I like the previous model better.

Didn't realize it was a 6x6 thats pretty dumb I'd rather have this in that case.

Something like that I would expect to have OBA with dash gauge and self inflating.

 

That guy from work that bought the 2017 TRD Off Road long bed got a "lift". He called it a 3/2 leveling kit. Had it done at the dealer and it's just spacers front and back. He paid a little more than $700 for that installed and aligned. I told him to get a proper lift and we'd install it on a mod day. He said he liked the fact that it was "dealer installed"

 

More money than sense.

 

I heard Fords are good at leaving spots....

yeah...I really tried to talk him out of it. Showed him the stuff we had done and he's seen my truck. That "kit" is just blocks in the rear (and I guess new u bolts) and front spacers. Math says he spent about $300 or so on labor. But at least it's dealer installed And John...if you're reading this...yes I'm calling you out

 

form over function, looking cool always rules !

 

Dealer install means quality and warranty tho
