    Like Voz said most of the guys on here do it themselves. We call mod day and usually we have 3-4 of the guys on here that get together and help out to put it on. Btw, welcome to the thread!

    I'm probably the only spacer advocate you will find but I just put on a 3" lift with spacers in the front and AAL in the rear and love it. Looks awesome and rides just fine. I don't off road so it was perfect for me. I paid $20 to another TW member and he shipped it all to me. Totally worth it...

    Ok spacer advocate.

    There is nothing wrong with a spacer lift so as you understand what is happening when you do it, and accept the results. You are exactly correct, it's a cosmetic mod, or an affordable mod to get a higher stance for tires or clearance.

    It is at the sacrifice of wheel travel.
    http://youtu.be/9ijkcR68oxU

    So, run the spacers. If you want do do more in the future a simple strut swap and away you go. The AAL's are fine to get you going either way in the rear.

    @ptacoma
    I'd say ride in some trucks to see what you like. Or let your budget decide. My desire was to go off-road capable with a spacer budget. I went with used parts bought from members here, and DIY tricks. Lucky for me I met guys here with the same principles, budgets and the know how to make it all work.

    Correct - I was ready to go Billy's but then I got the basically free spacers so that was the deciding factor. I plan on getting the Billy's eventually but for now the spacers do their job.

    This guy thinks he's gonna take my job as the tool guy. You gotta earn that!

    Just playin, we can watch everybody else do all the work, and listen to @voz talk smack about his wife or @Sandman614 the whole time. It's fun.

    As for lift, I'm a big proponent of the suspension lift, as many people on here will tell you. I believe it rides better, and has more ability offroad. But like everybody else says, it all depends on your budget and what you wanna do(I can make a decision for you on what you wanna do. It's called SAS and you'll love it) :thumbsup:

    All depends on budget, which lift really. I did spacer/level kit when I got my 08, but last year I did a complete 3" OME lift. The level kit was initially to clear bigger tires. But went to the OME when adding all extra weight of bumpers and such

    Thundercookies why do you not like my fake hood scoop? I was going to get the sport but I liked the off road edition better but it didn't come with the scoop so it was a cheap cosmetic fix from the dealer. LOL

    I like it alot. I wheel but not crazy (have another truck for tearing up). I didn't have the bank for LT or anything crazy, but im happy with the OME. Its one on those companys that been around for ever, and they dont seem to jump on any band wagons, no fancy bells or whistles. Just solid lift, my 2 cents

    I hear nothing but good things about OME. I have read a few threads and they all say the same. Thanks

    Just know what doing with truck in the future, i knew was doing bumpers, so I used the HD springs with top spacer. The only thing that stunk was I was unable to get by with out A-arms my truck just maxed it out to much (may have been OK for street use). I read it seemed 50/50 for people needing to do A-arms. I used light racing A-arms
