Im liking the sound of that. You hunt on public or private land

 

I haven't hunted in like 5yrs (adulting/parenting got in the way) but I hunted on both. Public lands you have to really look into because some are only bow some are bow,shotgun, or black powder and some are anything goes. Also sometimes they won't allow hunting for certain game on gamelands if there has been too much pressure. Also NC changed their private land use rules now you have to carry a permission slip with you from the land owner. Also purple painted rectangles are to mark private land boundaries that do not allow hunting. I use to lease with several other guys over 500 acres between 3 counties to hunt you can sometimes get some really good deals with getting leases and being the only ones with permission to hunt in the contract.

 

I need to shoot my bow some more so I can try it, rather I need to go hunting in general

 

I'm down for some bow hunting. Thinking about turkey hunting this year.
