    Disconnecting the battery is for sissy’s :D
    36-48vdc on a regular basis,only when I’m in the power panel does the battery get disconnected.... it gets exciting some times !

    Usually worst you'll do is pop a fuse and in the case of the Ign 1 no 2 its fun to remember that's what all of the random things have in common.

    Ha, that’s pretty mild really, that’s in house maintenance trying to be helpful/useful.
    Depends on the machine and the issues it’s having as when to replace the ears nest or wire harness. The above picture is in a 20yo mechanics floor runner,if it need that much help it would likely be replaced, at least quoted vs repair.
    Many newer forklifts you can’t even tap into the harness because there are CAN systems that monitor EVERYTHING. Horn god bad ? Toss a code, shut machine down, tail light, same thing. Even revers lights, it gets stupid.
