Depending on your expectations and whether you tend to put a steel bumper and winch on your truck, the 886 coils will ride a bit stiff for ya. Dual shocks are certainly not needed on a tacoma. If you are looking for the best ride on and off road check out Icon coilovers as someone mentioned before. OME makes a great product and for the money the 885 coils and OME struts are hard to beat but if money doesnt matter and performance is all you are after then check out Icon. PM me or give me a call if you want some pricing or need help with anything...

Anyone going to the Uwharrie jamboree on saturday? Hit me up if you are because we would love to meet some local folks

Need a favor. I need to borrow someone that has access to a metal lathe.

I'm building the gf an Airsoft rifle and can't find an outer barrel that I like. I bought one that is short enough but it's diameter is too thick. Just a few mins on a lathe would fix that. The next game we're going to is May 4th, I hope someone can help me out before then.

Why do you think LT isn't useful? A 4x4 LT truck would kill trails on the east coast. The TC 2" LT kit with 35"s and upgraded CV's would easily keep up with a SA truck on 35"s. The extra travel gains would be great for rocks if the person behind the wheel knows how to drive. A big advantage for LT is you can keep all your electronic gismos.

Awesome! Prerunners are perfectly acceptable for this outing :p

Yes, that's true but a well equipped IFS truck is just as capable here unless you have lots of money to burn or are looking to build just short of a full buggy. I don't feel the advantages of LT really justify the cost here. High speed whoops in the desert sure. The trail rides and rocks here just aren't worth it.

LT is still an IFS suspension. It would be cheaper to LT than to SAS.

I bet when Mr.Grimm gets here and shows how well his LT truck preforms, more people are going to want to LT. Some people on this site sink over $5,000 into a mid-travel suspension. If you are already spending that kind of dough then LT would be a better option.

It's just my opinion. I never said to go SAS. 900$ and done on my OME suspension. A Locker and M/T's and I'll catch up to the VA guys, if I wanted to throw money at it.

By all means go LT and show us how deep your pockets are.

I know you never did but you said that LT isn't useful here it would just look cool and I am telling you that is some dumb shit.

I have no reason to LT and so what if people have money to burn? Just because they have more disposable income than you doesn't mean you should get butthurt.

I'm just giving an opinion, you're being defensive. Mrbedgood said he made up his mind to do it and I support that and will even lend a hand. I just feel there is a reason you don't see more of it here.
