My P3AT ankle gun got traded for the G43. I don't think I could ever go back to carrying a .380 I haven't shot that gun for 2 yrs now I think.

Not bad at all for me... I'm not trying to get in a shoot out, just some up close and personal protection...

That's what the .38 snub is for no moving slide to worry about if the muzzle is up against an assailant. So I can go through a cylinder vs a semiauto the slide won't fully go into battery in that situation. Tool for ever scenario!

Shield and the 43 were my 2 top competitors for a single stack 9. But I could not get comfortable with the shield which is weird because I like the double stack M&Ps. So the 43 won for me. At least smith & wesson don't just buy cheap euro guns and rebrand them XD:anonymous:.

    What .45 did you carry?

XD Compact lol. But I’ve got a match grade barrel and trigger I installed. Trigger was a royal pain in the ass but man it’s tight and crisp.

I shot competition with it when I lived in Asheville and am pretty nasty with it but i have to go up a size in pants to CC it and So I’ve decided to stick with the shield.

Buddy of mine love's his XDs just not for me.

Springfield wanted to get into the striker fired polymer gun game here is where they got them from
The HS2000 (Hrvatski Samokres (Croatian Pistol)), or XD (X-treme Duty) are a series of semi-automatic pistol that are polymer-framed and striker-fired. Manufactured in the city of Karlovac, Croatia by HS Produkt(formerly I.M. Metal), the Springfield Armory XD, XDM, or XD-S is the marketing name for the weapon, which is licensed and sold in the United States by Springfield Armory, Inc.

Well that’s fancy! I was wondering why they were made in Croatia. Now I know!

For whatever reason Springfield has been doing that with a lot of their guns. Not saying Croatian guns are bad they actually have some pretty cool shit. They have turned into what arsenal is for the AK but rebranding under their name. I really want to get my hands on one of those Rex Zero1 guns which is pretty much a mimic of a sig. Those are Serbian I think. So funny how eastern block europe has some of the coolest and toughest guns that we can get and use but their own people can't.

Lol yea I know what you mean there. I personally haven’t had any issues with it besides the striker retaining pin breaking but the XD is notorious for that happening over time. I need a full size double stack and a revolver and my pistol spread will be complete haha

Yeah I have all those bases covered well. I am now looking for some collector pieces and I may have a lead on one I thought I would never even see. My buddy took me to his smith today just to introduce me and one of his customers is a collector and selling his stuff off I guess it was his retirement investments idk. Well the smith has his Bren in for some work to make sure it's running up to par!!! I tried not to let my jaw hit the floor but that would be awesome if I could pick that bad boy up.

My G43 is my daily, this just throw in pocket when doing something quick, easier for me to conceal when at church also

G19 with an extra G17 mag and the G43 as backup, Depending on attire I will only carry the 43. My .38 snub usually is with me as well.

When out camping in certain areas the G20 is my carry.
