Looked at that link posted about Flag Pole, man, it is beautiful there. I lived in R'mond all my life and just recently (last 9 years) go up there for the annual maple festival a few counties down from there. I wanted to go last weekend/this weekend, but my daughter has to work and it was a daddy/daughter thing for us. Wouldn't be the same without her.

URE sometime during the first week of April? I'm on spring break and already took off work.

Well either way, I'm planning on driving up there early that week, maybe get lunch if yall are down, and heading to tennessee at some point. Basically doing a trip of the southeast, visiting friends in each state. GA, NC, TN, possibly AL and back down again. Maybe SC somewhere in there, not sure.

What date are you thinking, I may be able to do a middle of the week trip to URE. I just don't want to be there during the festival. That is why our trip to windrock moved to AOP was because of some huge festival.

 

That was just poor planning by the group that started it lol

 

He had supposedly called Windrock a couple of times to talk to them about that weekend and nothing was posted about that festival until like a month or so ago so idk. Maybe a little of both.

 

My schedule is gonna be kinda fluid, just going where I want, when I want. So any day you wanna go is good for me. Definitely don't wanna be for that jeep thing though
