I'm thinking just like I've said before, people are afraid to let these engines Rev. The moment it makes a sound it's "working too hard". I'm not saying peg the Rev limiter but some hard work is perfectly fine.

    Yea this is true too.

I go to 4-Low 3rd year every time I’m in the sand. The Jeep sounds like it’s working it’s balls off but in reality I’m only running 3k or so.

I haven’t tried since the new gears.. we shall see.

I wasn't worried about the refs but the rev to forward motion ratio. Had the sensation of getting suck. Like I said before, inexperience nerves.

Sand will do that. I feel like I’m gonna get stuck every time I go out on the sand..

@VA SOFTACO Sound advice here! I can attest that Dicky can be done without any skids or sliders but it isn't for the faint of heart. It's also good to have a good spotter. On Dicky and the front of Daniel. If me and the youngin didn't have some where to be Sun afternoon we'd park the pig cooker and wheel with ya on the way home sun. My past couple of trips have been taking rookies and they did just fine all stock going up Dutch and the back of Daniel. Oh don't go bum rushing to catch up to anyone either those erosion control mounds will cause you to catch some air you may not want. :anonymous:

Like Jimbo said you can do the whole trail system in a day. A few weeks ago that's what we did. It took a while due to traffic and just stopping to figure out what/where to go next.

We are leaving towards coming, hopefully we get enough done in URE during Thursday and Friday to get our fix. So far the plan is to URE Saturday morning and leave for the Meat Meet by 10am. Wife also wants to explore some stuff in Charlotte during those 4 days.

Yeah I do love a good southern pig pickin'
    Thank you

My spotter (wife) is not very skilled at spotting but she is learning. We leave for back home around 2pm Sunday so we may not hit up URE that day since we have to pack up camp.
