We were down in the Charlotte area but moved back up this way late last summer. My wife and I are both from Raleigh but went to school down in Charlotte and lived down there for a few years afterwards. We have just had the shop for about 2 months now. We share the space with TLC transmission and auto. I help them when I am not busy and they do the same for us. They needed some help and we needed shop space so it worked out perfectly for a new small business...a lot of cost up front that we have been able to put on the back burner for now until we are big enough to get our own shop. Plus it allows us to offer a lot of services we wouldnt be able to do because of the cost of equipment. We do maintenance and repair on top of overlanding and off-road sales and installs. Not to mention Lee, the owner of TLC is one of the best transmission guys in the state and an off-road enthusiast himself...even if he is a Jeep guy.

As far as coming by to check us out...we dont have a whole lot of product for you to look at, going back to space and cost as a new business, but I will certainly help you anyway I can and would love to meet you guys. Just a dirty shop and my truck. Let me know if I can help in anyway...hope to make a wing and beer night soon!

I have had some transmission work done by Lee at TLC in the past. Top notch job.

I'll keep Lee in mind if I need any Trans work done.

Sounds like we need another Wings and drinks night soon. Anyone have any recommendations?

What's up guys. Been a while, still gonna be a while longer before I'm back. But in the meantime here's an update. 24.5" up front and 26" rear. Gonna probably take the blocks out the rear since I've got the AAL now.

I think I saw RaleighTaco in Durham this morning around 9am. Black, single cab Taco with aftermarket wheels, looked like a lift and something on the lower part of the tailgate.

Truck was turning onto 15-501/Durham-Chapel Hill Fwy. from SW Durham Drive.

Whoever it was, nice truck.
