Don't get to excited about the range unless you like range nazi's breathing down your neck. I understand being safe but they take it a little overboard. A buddy of mines dad was working there and he ended up quiting partly because of that.

ETA- It is better than nothing for people who don't have a place to shoot I guess.

I’ll never go back. The rules are completely opposite to what im used to.

Gun movement has to happen when the range is cold.. I’ve never seen that before-I don’t want people handling guns while I’m down range

You can’t cross the firing line (unless if you’re down range setting up targets) when it’s cold. Officer actually told me I could pick up my brass in front of the firing line while the range was hot.

I got yelled at three times, the third time I picked my shit up and left. I’ll never go back there. Those people are fucking idiots.

Oh the range officers at the game lands range near me are pretty cool and laid back. They don't tolerate guys being muzzle swept though which I'm glad. Before they put range officers there I jumped down a dudes shit who muzzle swept me with an ar. Of course it wasn't empty and he didn't have it on safe nor did he have proper discipline on handling of a firearm. But I always have my trauma kit with me just in case of a negligent discharge.

Yea the stupidity at ranges I don’t tolerate.. and am grateful for the range officers. But creating and enforcing rules that make no sense is enfuriating. The RO’s response when I told him the rules didn’t make sense and that they will lead to someone getting hurt was “well you signed that you agree with the rules in place here” so I said fair enough and left haha

Possibly. We are going to meeting up with @Taco_life tomorrow at some point so I'm not exactly sure what the plan is.
