9 days until my hunting trip!

The beauty of compact rifles is you can cram two of them in a single rifle case lol

Don't get that Gladiator shit... I have a couple of them and they're shit. WAAaaay overpriced. They do look nice though but not worth the money.

For the money, vortex optics are awesome. Especially when I can’t justify putting a $1500 Leupold on a $449 .308 :bananadance:

Hey guys, I've been pretty inactive on the forums for a while now. Been busy with work and giving my Tacoma a break to build my 3rd gen 4runner. Alot of work has been done to the 4runner so its 100% reliable on the trails. Do you guys go to Uwharrie often? The next trip that is planned is in April. It's a Rover event but they are good people to wheel with.

I was out last season when like 100 rovers were out. Surprisingly the only stuck/broken down vehicles were Jeeps.

yea we went in December just before they closed it and all the jeeps were stuck. My 4runner and my buddies land cruiser had no issues. it was really wet. Me and my friends typically go to the rover events because the jeep guys typically don't want anything else but jeeps out there. I never see any Yota events.

We don't really do events, we just get together and go have fun. We generally like small 5-10 truck groups. All these groups taking 30, 50, 100s of vehicles out gets way too annoying sitting in traffic.

yeah i get that. when we do go to these events we typically just do our own thing. but you're right. the trail is crowded. when we went in December, we were the only ones on the upper loop in Badin lake camp ground.
