closest thing i have would be an old washing machine motor from 50s/60s i have mounted on a rube goldberg air compressor my dad built that i haven’t used in years.....

no idea what the hp is or the rpm, it ran a one cyl air pump for years in my dads garage

I’ll never use it again, it’s been sitting in my shed for 18years, last time i tried it popped a GFI dunno if it was the motor or the switch.

A little of this and a little of that.
LED lighting for the whorage = win! I decided to go that route too and snagged one from HD to experiment with. The particular model I went with can be linked flush end to end or you can use a cable link for angles, obstructions, etc. You can direct wire one, then tether the rest to the main or use an outlet. IIRC you can tether up to 16 of the 4ft bars and I believe one 4ft bar emits something like 1800 lumens.

In other news, the wife is visiting with family this weekend so the dogs and I have the house to ourselves. This means -->this guy<-- might actually find time for wrapping up some projects or maybe possibly definitely get into or be up for some shenanigans.

You just want to "stand out of the crowd of those beat up Cherokee and bro-dozer mall crawler JKs"

It's a nice looking car, something capable of Gambler 500 runs.

Yea if my wife wouldn’t make me sleep in it, I’d certainly buy it and have some fun with it. Would be an awesome beach car if you gutted the interior

@voz @Dangerdave et al jeep people. What size tires can you fit on a 2006 wrangler without lifting? Asking for a friend, lol really though. He wants to put on some tires that don't make it look quite as anemic but doesn't want to make it rub and he wants to come do easy trails at URE... Wants 235/75r15 on factory 15x8 rims.

That’s a TJ so I’m not absolutely positive because they are built a little smaller than the JK.

I fit 305/70/17 on mine with no lift and stock fenders. I could have done 315s but wasn’t positive at the time so I went with the safer bet.

Quick search on wranglerforum yielded most people saying 31’s if springs are worn and sagging and 32’s if springs are holding up well (pun intended)

You can find new take offs of the 255/75/17 all day long on Craigslist from people pulling them off their Jeeps from the factory and swapping for bigger tires and that’s a true 32” tire

06 were JKs I thought?????? Wait nope you're right. JKs were released in 06 for the 07 model yr. All I know is I'd like to get an LJ one say.

Yeah on TJs 31s and even with that depending on the wheels they may rub and width of the tire. The 255 suggestion is probably the safest.

Cut my firs high carbon steel knife blank today.....gotta fab a bevel gauge thingy so I can grind the blade. Gonna have some kind of dark exotic wood scales and brass pins ... gotta did through the bin for the wood. Also built a mini heat treating forge. If all goes well it’ll be kinda neat.

Making any of those american flag stickers any time soon :boink::anonymous:

That is really slick! I wish I had the skill to do that. It looks like you have a great blade shape and handle shape there! Can't wait to see the finished product.

haha...actually I am gonna be cutting some stickers here in a bit. Due to many "hobbies" I have to shuffle stuff around sometimes and the sticker cutter got slid to the back for a bit.
