So everything off one side of the rear and cant get the leads to seperate from the axle? Help?

 

Have you let the jack down to let the axle fall??

 

I've got a small stack of it!

 

Yeah and they still wont seperate

 

They wont come off the axle itself

 

And you had the Frame itself supported? If you only have the axle lifted and lower it the springs will follow. The frame has to be supported.

 

Sit the axle on jack stands on the lowest height. Jack the frame of the truck up separately. Something will have to give or get out the BFH!

 

@overlandozzy1 These^^^^^^^^^^^^ and I'll add a BFPB as well.

 

Please tell me you have the frame supported. If not, you may never hear the end of it. Brain farts happen though

 

Hope it’s alright to post here. A friend of mine just posted in the Facebook marketplace. Don’t know anything about it, but I’d frame still good may could be a project for someone?

So, I snapped off one of the flange stud bolts on the secondary air injection valve sub-assembly. Luckily it sheared off on the back side of the adjoining tubing flange so I have enough real estate to work with for extraction. Dealership said that they can’t get that particular stud and that it’s “not removable”. I call shenanigans, anyone else care to chime in? Oh, I did find out that it’s a 1/4x28 pattern with roughly 1” exposed when installed in the sub-assembly.

 

They probably can't get that stud because it probably comes from a 3rd party vendor and they sell it as an assembly

 

And I figured as much too, I’m fairly certain dorman has a replacement.
