Yeah, we traded in the Camaro and got the RAV4, it was good to us for a couple years but we wanted something a bit bigger and found a deal we couldn't pass up on the 4 runner. We had a boy, he'll be 3 in August

How much did you guys pay for your CMC? Also, where would you recommend shop wise? Greensboro area, but could travel to Raleigh easily of course.

A little of this and a little of that.
Nothing, it’s not difficult as long as you properly prep and pay attention to what you’re doing. @ovrlndkull did mine, but that was mainly because we were working on entirely different things on the truck to finish faster. Since we’re on the CMC subject, we found that a rotary tool (dremel) with a couple of cutoff wheels makes it a snap and leaves you with a cleaner finished product. You also have the added benefit of it being less cumbersome and awkward due to the smaller size.

Edit: I should note that that’s if you decide to do it yourself. If you’re going to have someone else do it, then it depends on a few things like for example:
    - are you just wanting the CMC w/out the filler plate?
    - do you want the filler plate? If so, then you need to account for the requirement of a welder.
    - do you actually need someone else to do it or is it more for convenience sake, lack of skill/resources (I mean no disrespect by that), not confident/uncomfortable w/ doing it yourself (again no disrespect)
    - so on and so forth, etc

What James said. The larger angle grinder discs work great for the big cuts just get some quality discs. The smaller dremel discs work good for getting into areas that's hard to reach with a larger disc and do some fine tuning. His was harder because I did a really aggressive chop since he's running 34" tires. Left his open for the time being to see if any more needed chopped before making some plates and welding them up.

Speaking of, since the numba won wifu is out of town on business, I’ll be able to focus a little more on the truck this week. Also, if you need to use the garage between now and Thursday or Friday, you’re welcome to it. On a side note, I think that once I get both front and rear bumpers (eventually is the keyword here), I’m probably going to trim the fenders by 1-2” and have the lines flow with bumper lines. My thinking is that it’ll look good but I’ll need to mock it up before I get to :sawzall:
