Any of you familiar with the area around coffee lake? I'm looking for some off grid camp sites. Just some random place I found and want to go. I have a NC fishing license so might as well use it.

this is why i have never become a manager. i think to be a "good" manager for the company, you have to be very political and if that means stepping on the lower beings, so be it. Lawyers/managers/politicians- all the same IMHO. Anyhow, i prefer the technical work as opposed to managing others to do what i want to do. :)

Mine will fuss at people that are sitting at a green light. Sometimes call me out on it too :anonymous:

Typically its along the lines of move you slow shit.

Spending too much time with me working in the shed or on something she has also picked up the perfect timing to use dammit. Like when she spills a drink. Dad got a taste of that and I found it hilarious since him giving me grief of my child cussing is like the pot calling the kettle black. I told him where do you think I got it from.

I don’t know how my kids don’t cuss like sailors. For some reason I’ve gotten really lucky over the years. I have heard my oldest yell “Shit!” From the back seat of the Jeep if I slam on the brakes. The wife didn’t like that too much

My 15yo dropped the F-Bomb on me during an argument a few weeks ago, she turned pale skin as she realized she did it. I didn’t say a word and did my damnedest to not crack a smile or bust up.
Mom called her on it later, I never said a word. I know she’s thinking, that’s all I need...not the feel sorry for me excuses

A little of this and a little of that.
HAHAHA, I have so much to look forward too. Numbah won wifu is coming up on the 33rd week, so we're getting close.

I remember the first time I loosed a curse word in front of my dad, it was similar to the scene from "A Christmas Story". Now mind you, my father was a 6'3" 265lb lineman for a power company (his nickname was spider-man) who was strong as a bull, had Popeye's forearms and hands like a vise. So needless to say, my ass was grass that day.

I got a call for a parent teacher conference for my kid sticking up for herself and telling a bully to "F" off. Needless to say I was a proud dad that day. Since schools have their hands tied with little shits like were harassing my daughter. Thankfully she told them that after she tried getting the teachers involved and telling them to stop herself and they wouldn't.

We started having conversations about using "bad" language and i have really tried hard to watch what I say and be a better example.

It's always good as a parent when you don't have to say a word and your kid just knows they shouldn't have said or done something. That just means you're raising them right and they know when they messed up and know they'll be in trouble for it.

But in all honesty I wouldn't trade fatherhood for anything in the world greatest thing ever.Through the good the bad and the ugly.
