Grill is coming next week. It’s been too long.. just debating charcoal or gas...

 

Gas, and a smoker! I don't like lighting charcoal for just a few hot dogs.

at one time i was with Tim about not dealing with charcoal for a small meal, i have 3 different sized grills and have stopped using my gas grill, it’s rusted out and only 3 years old.

We grill almost every night, i have an indentured servant that stacks the coals for me, all i gotta do it light it and dump when ready. The better half splits the cooking duties with me

 

Y’all are confusing my poor heart

I wish I could jusify a dual setup.. but they are expensive

Weber Kettles aren’t that expensive and last for years 22” is large enough for most families, 18” is still big enough to smoke a butt or even a small brisket if you want, and can still reasonably control the temps. 26” is my next purchase

currently have a 14”, 18” and a 22” use both Kingsford and RoyalOak Lump Royal oak lump is cheaper and is my main everyday burn, Kingsford when i need consistent temps and control ability for a lengthy smoke.
Don’t forget your smoking chunks..... !

Went from ~3–3/16” of preload to 1-1/16” w/ the 14”/650’s. Yuuuuuge difference, one of the best decisions yet.

New cab mounts and 1” pucks.

Disconnected the brake line bracket for now, JIC.

Gap from new mounts and pucks, certainly not the worst.

Honestly it was nice out with my canopy and the breeze from the water. The water was pretty warm and disappointing.. felt like bath water lol.

 

We hit up the lake at URE, that was awesome to rinse the dust off and was nice and cool!

 

@Sandman614 what are your upcoming weekend plans?! Trying to figure out a good time to pick up the tires and quickly discuss your next round of bussmans!
