    In other news, I serviced both diffs, the transfer case and installed new crush washers. Rear diff and trans case fluid had a very very faint amber tinge to the color of the fluid. The front however, looked almost gun-metal gray. Everything smelled consistent with used old fluid with none of that "burnt" business. No chunks found on the magnets, just an EXTREMELY fine glob of particulates on the front diff magnet which leads me to believe that either the front was never serviced or that it was well overdue from the last.
