Bears are certainly smarter than we give them credit for. I’ve seen some crafty ones get food I’ve hung perfectly in the backcountry.. we had one chew our rope in half to drop the food when I was still guiding. I was sitting at the fire in complete disbelief.. that bastard knew exactly what he/she was doing

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Anybody got any good plumber recommendations in the Apex area? Some simple stuff, change a valve, switch hot and cold lines for the shower and then talk through plans to relocate washer upstairs...2” drain with hot and cold water access. Thanks. Look forward to getting out and meeting some of you guys in the area soon.

Works for me, I'm only 5-10 minutes away depending on the traffic.

Been a while since I've been on this thread on TW. I used to log in here daily when I had more time at work. They gave me a "promotion" and my days of perusing the internet at work are long gone. Last year I replaced the clutch on my AC compressor it seemed to run happier with the new clutch it quit squealing and I wasn't ready to fork over the $$$ to replace the whole thing. Pretty sure it took a dump this morning on the way in to work saw the AC light start blinking. Popped the hood to have to a look the compressor turns over for a bit but after about 10 seconds of running it starts struggling and I saw some sparks coming out of it like its bound up and struggling to spin. I know the clutch is good so its got to be the compressor I've almost been expecting it to go out for 2-3 years. Anybody ever replaced the compressor yourself? I saw some recommendations to buy a kit from Rock Auto its like $275 . Reading up on it and it seems like a big job. I'm pretty confident I could replace the compressor but flushing the lines out and all that makes me a little nervous. Got a quote last year on replacing it they wanted about $1100. Cant decide whether or not to attempt this job or let the pro's handle it. On a positive note I did manage to disable my TPMS system yesterday I found a TW writeup and I had a glorious celebration when I tested it and found that damn light that's been bothering me for years is finally gone.
