Have you figured out where the water came from?

The original owners washer, looks to have been patched half assed. It'll be done to what I know to be right tomorrow.

 

Thanks, next week is gonna be chock full of painters and carpet lay-ers. This has been a whirlwind of a process, a simple change of laminate flooring and carpet resulted in subfloor replacement, floor leveling, and restraining myself from ripping out all the particle board underlay ontop of the subfloor in the rest of the house.

It’s not that hard. Just make sure you cut out ALL the cancer, In the middle of a floor joists. Set saw to just shy of height of floor

No I'd just leave it looks that that was an old repair. I would possibly add another joist on the other side just for a little extra insurance

while you’re in there, go to Agrisupply get you a pump sprayer and a gallon of BiFen and start spraying around the base of the foundation and soak it good, make it a bi monthly thing.

spray down in the area and then in crawl space and around the perimeter of the house getting up on foundation wall as well

You’re gonna have to get in there if you’re gonna replace that hoist
