Hey ... new to the forum and looking at picking up a first gen Tacoma. I have my eyes on one now. Any recommendations for a mechanic in the Raleigh/Garner area to do a pre-purchase inspection? I took our old Acura MDX to Matt's in Garner and was happy with the service. Just looking to see if there any Tacoma experts I should be looking at. Thanks!

That’s the only way I could do it. 2000 miles is a long way!

It's a nice pitstop on the way to may parents up north. Have a pint, recollect from the past several hours, fill some growlers, then get back on the road!

I’ve been to the basecamp one time. We drove up, ate lunch, had a few beers, and then went up and drove on the parkway. It was a great day trip. They have brisket on Saturdays. It was very good! I’d like to do it again if we could ever get this Covid shit behind us.

We tried to go a second time last year when we went to Overland Expo. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed! 1:45 wait to eat at the restaurant. I just couldn’t wait that long.
