I’ve seen his YouTube videos before. I buy parts from Fred Anderson and see him around there sometimes. He seems like a nice guy but I don’t think he has celebrity status yet.

Only thing I know him from is the million mile Tacoma interview. I had a buddy that was a salesman and worked with him I still didn't know him from Adam. More famous would be the annoying mark jacobson

I wouldn't doubt it he was a big smoker and drinker and was already old when he got the dealership. He built a big fancy house too

My mom bought a Camry from Mark. She has been really satisfied with the dealership. She said he came out and personally thanked her for her business. The people that work there said he would always come out and talk to customers. I would always see him at the Greensboro classic auto auction. I think he had a nice collection of classic cars.

He did just like Mr. Leith, and what's his face that owns crossroads group. The old dealership across the street had some of his collection in it.

Mr. Leith was always a nice guy. He use to own a house where I work. He would drop off flyers/catalogs for the car auctions he was involved with some being from his personal collection. Couldn't afford any of it but nice to look at. Lol

    Thats sad.

I just bought my Tacoma from there back at the end of May.

The finance person had nothing but good things to say about him.

@Dangerdave y'all what happened to the old draw bridge at surf city so weird it being a big fly over like that. Man that whole intersection and 210/50 area has blown up

That went bye bye about a year and a half or so ago. Definitely a change in scenery from the old turntable bridge.

Yeah man it was wild dealing with the 2 roundabouts and that bridge it felt totally different that whole area on the island. I haven't been down to my place since April 2019. I remember construction signs since I come here via 50 then turn onto 17 but I didn't venture down there to see what was going on.

I got to watch it come together from taking the boat up through there. I think its one of the few projects that was finished ahead of schedule. Lol

It looks pretty massive from a boat.

Man I don't doubt it definitely dwafs the one on the other side of the island as far as length but not sure about height well that's the way it feels driving on it.

    What @HIghlande2 said

my wife runs that bridge. Tough haul up hill but it’s a breathtaking view

I plan on running the new boat up there in the winter to check it out from the water. Jessi wants to boat up to a restaurant for some reason so we are gonna check that off the list soon

Skip, give me a couple days heads up next time y’all come down! I’m leaving for over two weeks in just a few days so it was hard to peel away from the family and feel good about it.

Y’all come down next time and we’ll get the kids together and take the boat out if y’all want

All good I understand, wasn't buggin' ya because it was such short notice.

It was a spur of the moment thing for us too. We were supposed to be in TN camping and running some of the trails in the SE TN but the rains washed the trails out and made the river crossings impassable so we decided to run to the beach away from the Hurricane (totally makes no sense) to have some good weather.

All good I think we are going to plan on coming down end of Sept. My daughter's best friend and her mother may come down as well unsure of that yet.
