Man that stinks but congrats on the ugliest in the deer family they still eat good. How tf do you shoot a tiny grouse with a bow that's some serious robin hood skill.

Grouse are a little bigger out there. Slightly smaller than a chicken. Plus she was at 25yds so it was a pretty easy shot.

mule deer might be ugly but they have a hell of a lot more mass than a white tail. Got a cooler full of meat at least
It was an incredible 10 days. I need to buy land in MT

@ovrlndkull see, they aren’t small like our grouse in NC

first one is a ruffed and is about the size of a small chicken. Second is a blue grouse and it’s slightly bigger

Had a good trip with the Overland Bound Crew out at Hurricane Creek this weekend. Unfortunate for the Xterra who rolled off the mountain. But thankfully nobodys hurt

Holy shit! How do you fall off the mountain at hurricane creek? I’ve run that trail a ton since I lived just up the road and can’t imagine how they did that?

He actually went off on Forest Rd 288. Its on the east side of 40 coming from the cataloochee group camp. Speed was the driving factor with all the rain he ran out of road in the middle of a turn and off he went

Yea that’s what I figured. Assumed he was giving it too much skinny pedal at some point. That sucks though!

Would anyone in Raleigh have a set of spring compressors I could borrow to change out the springs on my shocks?
