Hopefully I'm done screwing with it by then, have the AC up permanently, and am moving things to the other side.

 

I can mud pretty good but I don’t have time to move for the next couple weeks unfortunately, I’m not amazing at it but I’m pretty decent.

 

It's the garage I would of slapped some damn ply wood up and bam easy to hang simple shelving and stuff. Looks fine there is a finesse art to it but that just comes with practice like @Blkvoodoo said it really isn't hard.

It looks fine! I kind of like mudding and taping drywall, I do suck at it. Sanding and the corners suck. I will mud and tape drywall any day over painting, now that is brutal!

 

Cutting in edges and corners sucks, aside from that I don’t mind the painting part

 

I have my wife cut lines, she's a beast at it. I'm naturally a sloppy person so I get paint EVREYWHERE coming within a mile of the stuff haha

 

I’m decent at it, it just makes me hate life on an unhealthy level

my wife won’t even attempt it. She’s hell bent on just taping everything off

 

My wife taped off the stairs.... 3 months ago and they are still taped without paint.

wait, it’s like she’s been to my house.... only it’s been 5 years (attic access frame from when I painted hall ceiling, blue tape still there, just haven’t got to it yet....)

while I didn’t put all the miles on it, That is lasted as it has given the life its had, 300k is an accomplishment. It hasn’t had any of he issues the 4Runner has had, Runner only has 258k
It ain’t pretty, but it’s certainly reliable.
