Just snagged an ATH HC rear for my truck. Anyone know someone from the forum who may willing to help with some TW Express? Bumpers located in Knoxville, TN and I'm not going to be out that way for several months. The guy said he would hold onto it but was curious if anyone knew somebody who may be willing to help

Greetings all, newer to the Raleigh area and new to the forum. Searching and lurking around and following in hopes to meet some fellow enthusiast and gain some knowledge. I never knew there was such a large following on these trucks.

I've got some 309L rods and magnaflow cats on the way for the Rover. I was hoping I could get away with using my C25 mix.. But seems like that's a BAD idea so now I gotta pickup an argon bottle.

If you got the TIG capable rig then it would be worth it to have a dedicated argon bottle. Otherwise, you could just use an exhaust slip joint to combine the two if you have a lip or just say screw it and MIG it. With C25 you will see your Tungsten melt away and turn black. I would just let you borrow my backup bottle but it is c25 right now. I have been meaning to find a small backup argon bottle. Shit always goes down on the weekend.

Anyone know a place that pays well for Cat Converters? Magnaflow is offering a partner program for up to $75 each, which I thought was OK until I did a quote on ecotradegroup.com

I just put them up for bid against the three or four buyers on marketplace. The prices vary week to week. Most of the buyers want proof of ownership but I sold the last one to a guy in Louisville.

they all go off some magical guide that you or I aren’t privy to I guess. I just tell them what I have and send pics of the numbers then they’d shoot an offer. I had a 2011 Audi A4 cat completely full, one guy said $500, another said $200 and he would come pick it up that day. Needless to say, I took the $500 offer but the two weeks later when I got it to him the prices of recycled metals went down to $400 for it. They vary based upon the vehicle. Just provide the codes off it.

I see that they changed the language in the Carolina squat bill. Now it says the front of the vehicle can’t be more than 4 inches higher than the rear. This is directly from the bill.

“Prohibited Modifications. – A private passenger automobile shall not be operated upon any highway or public vehicular area if by alteration of the suspension, frame, or chassis, the height of the front fender is 4 or more inches greater than the height of the rear fender. For the purposes of this subsection, the height of the fender shall be a vertical measurement from and perpendicular to the ground, through the centerline of the wheel, and to the bottom of the fender."

It has passed the house and senate. Now it goes to the Governor to be signed. If signed, it becomes law December 1, 2021. Three offenses will revoke your license.

Lets all cut our fenders so that it's 4 in taller in the front

I hope all the strike throughs really aren't going to be part of the law change but once they pass this I can see that that's what they really wanted and will be coming after next with other modifications like retrofit headlights, different bulbs, etc. Give an inch and a mile will be taken. Just the beginning
