If you're willing to stop between CLT and Raleigh I'd reccomend Apex Overland in Gboro. Give them a call and schedule something they do lifts and stuff all day and kinda specialize in the Yotas.

URE, AOP, Windrock, Patriot Offroad, Gulches for a few parks in a reasonable distance. The SC guys do Gorges, Horse Pasture, and Chesnutt mtn(?) overland camping rides.

URE is a great place to begin, get with a group to go out and we well help you through obstacles and let you know what you should and shouldn't do, lots of things to do that aren't offroad as well.

Head up towards the mountains for great hikes and scenery on the Parkway too

I'm gonna need new tires soon. If anyone has some new-ish take-offs from a TRD OR that they are selling, please let me know. I don't need the wheels, tires only please.

Anyone got any 16" steel wheels. At some point I hit a rock and tore one of mine.

@ovrlndkull I hope you're sitting down for this... Oliver's driveline just told me "[The front shaft for the Rover] isn't something we can build but we can get an aftermarket shaft that has 1310 ujoints rather than the factory."

Well no shit I can buy an aftermarket one as well.. I can also buy the parts to make one... Now who has a lathe and balancer I can borrow....

    2 flange

It sure looks like all the jeep ones they build, just with different ends..

Good to know, now I won't waste my time driving out there for them to bastardize my Toyota shafts with some spicer garbage.
