Is anyone looking for a kitten?

I think it's a he but we call it 'little kitty'

It started hiding under our back shed 2 weeks ago. It looked malnourished so we fed it every now and then. We can't keep it and now it is super friendly but still alittle skidish. This kitten needs a good home.

If anyone is interested please let me know. The kitty seems to keep itself clean and doesn't seem bat sh,t crazy. It Loves attention just still alittle skidish due it being an unfortunate stray. It wants in the house all the time. Apparently the shelters in Burlington are super full. We will take care of it until it finds a good home.

Also the kitten seems great around our other animals now. 1 small female dog and 2 female cats

If you or know anyone interested please contact me20220913_180611.jpg 20220913_180619.jpg

Sorry guys but I have to vent for a minute.
I priced ATF WS fluid from 3 dealers in the area and got drastically different prices. The 3 places I called are Fred Anderson, Leith, and Classic (formerly Toyota of Henderson). The prices I got, per qt were $10.25, $12.61, and $25.38. Why are the prices so different from dealer to dealer? I just don’t understand that.

    Rant over.

It just be like that sometimes :annoyed:

why do I live in a port city where transportation costs are presumably lowest but we have the highest fuel costs in the surround areas? Diesel
    Is cheaper in freakin Asheville.

#stealership I went for a transmission pan crush washer and paid $13... They're $2.12 online from the same dealer "you have to buy online for that price"

I know which dealer you are talking about. It’s the one that was $25.38 for a quart of WS. I also called Mark Jacobson Toyota and got another completely different price.

Just putting a feeler out. I will have a brand new JD fab lower pivot kit for a 2nd gen Tacoma up for sale. It has the aluminum skid and with it would come a set of oem LCAs with white line bushings and the rear bushing sleeve bored out to fit the pivot kit bolt as well as TTK LBJs on them. I would strongly prefer local pickup but am willing to meet halfway. Located in Wake Forest/triangle area.

Hey there - why isn't NC on your list? my friend just left NJ for NC and is loving a 50 acre plot of land their homesteading. he can work anywhere so that wasn't an issue. Just curious on your opinion @ovrlndkull

    Thanks!

Hiya. I'll be down in your neck of the woods from Oct 15-30th. Staying in Chapel Hill.

I'll be out in Winston-Salem for one day, but otherwise working remote for those two weeks. If anyone has any recommendations for me and wife and dog to check out, let me know! I pulled some stuff from the goog maps.

Unfortunately URE isn't happening - can't wheel the truck when I need to drive it a thousand miles home over Halloween o_O

Also an unfortunate happenstance, I think I will have to be gone for Halloween. Unfortunate, wish I could have stuck around for it. I know at least one day/afternoon I'll be heading out toward Zebulon to see my cousin, and on Monday the 24th I'll be around Winston-Salem for some supplier visits, but can go out there early/stick around later if there's something worth checking out.

Have dog. Catahoula. Likes woods and swamps. Wife vegan, me not, send in the dog park/hikes/bbq/vegan recommendations - we're all ears!

If you want to do a hike, Hanging Rock state park N of Winston up Highway 52. Can't advise on any other questions.

Hey, all my fellow NC residents. Pretty new to TW, and I've recently posted a couple pics of my trucks quick evolution already, with the Pro grille, bull bar, and TRD wheels. I live east of Charlotte, in Stanly County... Oakboro specifically. I've taken my Jeep TJ to Uwharrie a bunch, but just bought my 2017 Tacoma a couple of weeks back, so I'm excited for some camping and possibly a run down an easy trail like Wolf's Den. Also thinking of doing the Max Patch trail for the first time ever after my work season is over. I am a NASCAR official, so my time at home is limited during our schedule, and I get some "fun time" starting around the second week of November until February. Surely someone here has done the Max Patch trail? Is a stock 4x4 TRD Sport capable of doing that? I've heard of stock Wranglers doing it with ease...

Exactly, if you want real BBQ you'll have to find a good place that sells Brisket, otherwise is just plain ole "PORK".
We have a place here in Salisbury called "The Smoke Pit" which is as close to Texas style BBQ that I've found in this state. Now don't get me wrong, I've gotten used to eating "Pulled Pork", but it just doesn't compare to Brisket.

    Now let the :crapstorm: begin.
