I am heading down to Roxboro next month on business. Looking for recommendations on where to eat (or where not to) and maybe a good place to grab a beer.

    Thanks!

Brooklyn Eats was really good, kinda spendy but I’d eat there again, might even take my wife.

I was with a vendor rep, we had a couple apps and I know I had a Rueben and sweet tater fries, it was damn good.

It is not a greasy spoon

I second Brookland Eats. I know the owner, he’s a great guy and the food is really good. Try the fried buffalo chicken sandwich, it’s not on the menu but they will make it. It’s awesome!

The Old Country Club Steakhouse is also very good if you want a steak. They have really good steak fries too.

Update - Apex folks were nice. They have some solid tool and accessory bags which you can order online, frigs, etc. The swap meet consisted of an open house with about a dozen mixed vehicles in the lot when I got there. Inside there were struts and tires and such for sale. But this real beauty as well.

TEQ Customs on Atlantic Avenue Raleigh - anyone have experience with their hands on work? Been open since July 2022, and I know they ship lights. Couldn't find anyone offering good or bad on their mods. Thanks.

I haven't had them do any mods on my truck, but I needed all lower ball joints pretty quickly for an upcoming trip and they got me in and all fixed up for a very fair rate. Hope that helps some.

Quick update and shout out to TEQ Customs in Raleigh.

I stopped by asking about RSI Smart Caps. Not only did they let me check one out in person (wow, my lucky day as I can't find them anywhere), they called suppliers to find out estimate on delivery. Within an hour I had back my details. Cool laid back vibe, but answered tons of questions.

Sat 11 March they are having a food and beer truck in the afternoon. I think it starts at 3.
