No you're supposed to say this place sucks! Too many californians coming to town All my new neighbors(1/2 dozen or more) are moving from Cali, nothing political.

 

Well I'm certaintly not Californian!! It looks like i'm going to land in Cary, the rental market down there is crazy.

 

Every market here is going crazy, Google feed keeps giving me stories of how it's the number X place to move to, and there's a radio commercial talking people into leaving the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle and moving to Percy Flowers (where they're bulldozing all the trees and making it a concrete jungle)

 

NO ! a don’t move here, we’re full !!! stay in Charlotte or Durham Cary if you must but don’t come east, they be crazy folk this way….

 

Do you guys do group trips to Uwharrie, or are there closer trails? Is there a Facebook group or anything?

 

Funny, come further east to the OBX for the real crazies. We’ll be relocating to the Kenly area within a year. Living in “paradise” just ain’t doing it for us anymore.

Anybody close to Raleigh got a spring compressor? Got a buddy who needs some springs put on struts for his Ford Raptor

 

Do we have any LEO or other background that can "check a VIN"? I'm in the market for a project vehicle, none of which that I can find have a title. I want to make the the VIN is clear before I apply for a bonded title.

 

Pretty sure Carfax will do that. But not for free obviously.

 

Most sheriffs depts will run a vin to make sure it’s not stolen for free. Mainly cause they will go bust someone if it is stolen. At least the new Hanover county sheriff does.. worth a phone call

Anyone know of a good mechanic in the Raleigh area? I'm considering a transmission fluid change (either all of it or a drain and fill), and I don't usually like to mess with that stuff myself.

Hey folks just moved to sanford area and was wondering if there were any meetups. Dont have a tacoma anymore, because junk, but looking at getting a jeep soon and trying to get back into wheeling. Here was my last whip

 

Welcome to NC, you are in the right place, they usually post taco events here. Jeep owners are welcome but get extra crap when you roll.

Whip? Now that is a first I've heard someone use for a taco. Looks like it was a solid build.
