Little off topic from flooring, but anybody know the best hiking/riding trails near Linville Gorge? Planning a trip with the wife for next month. Plan on staying near Asheville and driving up near the gorge for some scenic hiking.

 

I've been through "the main trail" to the Gorge, it's ok but the far side seems like the better side. I know that's not really descriptive but that's all I got.

 

Not familiar with either side really to be honest. I've got a map of the area from REI and been looking at some of the trails online, but figured I'd check and see if anybody else has any personal tips.

Dude, Charlie is fucking awesome at his job. Had someone hit the truck this past weekend at Brown, scraping and denting the hood. He worked on it for about an hour today and it looks like it never happened. Dent Response FTMFW.

Rock Jock, Hawksbill Mtn Trail, Spence Ridge and Tablerock are all great trails. Ranging from a little over a half mile to almost three, these are probably the best to get decent views at this time of the year IMO.

 

I wanna meet some guys with some tacomas and go have some fun!!! Anyone wanna hit up a wing place and have some drinks on the weekend?

 

Awesome glad to hear it! He pulled my fender out on a quick trip up! It's not perfect but it was a favor and I'm happy! Charlie rocks!

South Fork. We ran the North fork from Todd to Mouth of Wilson a few years ago, good trip.

 

Is one better than the other? We haven't looked to to see where were gonna enter or exit yet.

 

Not exactly, they are both pretty shallow and slow flowing until you get close to Va. Damn good lazy float or paddle trip though.

 

so after i did BHLM i noticed one of my parking lights??? (the ones on the outside) doesn't work. i tried to switch the bulbs around to see if maybe the other bulb was just shot and now neither one of them work. wtf.

 

Yea last time I was on it we bottomed out our tubes Lol..

 

Key is to carry the beer in a no. 2. When we hit the New we always have a "dingy" to carry the beer.
