Hey fellas, I plan on coming up to NC just south of Raleigh for Thanksgiving. I will be there Saturday 11/21- Sunday 11/29 and I would like to make it out to URE, do any of you plan on going before Thanksgiving around those dates?

I see that, maybe that could work I was hoping for the weekend before since I head back that Sunday after but I guess we could camp Friday night and ride Saturday

 

Does anyone know what the legal ramifications of running Off-Road Headlights on the road in NC? What kind of ticket would that earn me if caught? I obviously don't plan to be a douche and blind anyone, I cut them off as soon as I am around another car, but if I am out in the middle of no-where on a rainy night trying to avoid hitting deer and a cop sees me, can I get pulled?

 

I run mine all the time when no one around, just be on the quick to turn them off when see headlights. Yes Cops (at least round here) will pull you if there blinding. I have a set of 2x2 LED squares in my bumper that i use as my fogs but keep them angled down correctly and never have issue (never turn those off at night)

 

Just put the black Trd stickers on it what you guys think?

 

Any idea what that ticket would look like? Non-moving violation perhaps?

 

Yea, really depends on the cop and how you are. Maybe improper equipment ticket

Will be there on Friday then camp and wheel Saturday. Not sure if we will camp Saturday too though.

 

Im no longer really tied down So when ever the major wheeling will be going down I plan on making it! excluding maybe thanksgiving its self!

Even if I have no rear lift #BroDozerVsURE

 

Oh and a buddy got pulled over for his light bars ect, The cop told him to get rid of the one on the roof, and we asked if the bottom one was okay, the cop told him to turn it on, asked how many Lumens it was, we didn't know... and said it was over the legal lumens??? However he didn't even write us a warning so I have no idea what the ticket would really be...

 

We will actually be in Boone Friday Saturday and Sunday. Maybe you can come to the place we will be at and we can grill and you and Derek can talk tacos! Lol or maybe if things aren't to muddy we can run a trail or two!
