@nastyneight @Rattletrap66 and anyone that knows, I have read the post that say any Chevy truck rear spring from 88-98. 2wd being better but 4wd not bad. Are there any years that would be better than others? I'm guessing the new springs would be better just because of age and less use?

Can't you use springs up to the mid 2000's, the lower the leaf pack number should have more flexibility, I want to cover my towin bases that's why I'll go for a three pack and a helper

I went with 98 and the condition on them was great, wire wheeled surface rust off and repainted. Good to go! No squeak like mine off my 2014 Tacoma too :D

I've known of the Chevy 63 option for a while, but never really researched it. I was thinking that the 3 leaf pack springs where the 2wd option... But you want them for towing? Are you looking for a 4wd set, and plan to remove a few leafs?

This pirate FAQ thread says 1988-2010+ rear springs... ?? https://www.tacomaworld.com/posts/11335837/edit

Hey, on the upcoming mod day, can someone cut my rear bumper so I can install flush mount led pods?

Correct the 2WD have 3 leafs plus an overload which I assume is what he will be using for towing, 4 leaf plus overload would be overkill

why can't you cut it ? grinder, cut off wheel, a beer to chill, and start cutting, remove everything that doesn't look like a hole for an LED Pod. Easy like pie..... ya done yet ?

Buddy of mine has recently bought a '94 C4 'Vette convertible.

Only thing left in the interior was the steering column, gauge cluster and supporting structure, seats and pedals. Motor is devoid of anything that does not contribute to HP production, car has lost 473 lbs since he bought it a month ago, and more to loose

I've pulled leaf packs apart and mixed and matched plenty of times. I wonder if the 4 leaf packs are the same as the 3 leaf packs with an extra leaf? I guess I need to find a local yard and go looking.
