Well I was gonna put the radio in today lol IF UPS ever shows up. It's easy to plug in and unplug to try it out in another truck

I'll be in Sanford tomorrow lol. We can plug it into your truck and if you like it we can leave it plugged in, if not unplug it and put yours back. You don't have the JBL subwoofer system do you?

 

What makes you need to put a blank cd in?

 

I have to have a cd in my player when i use my MP3 player, it lets the output work

 

It's a disc of silence, not a blank disc. It's just the way the mod is designed. It's a Hi-Jack method, the Aux is tapped into the CD player input after the actual CD feed and the cd player has to be activated to turn on the processor, hence the disc has to be in. If the disc has tracks on it with sound you can hear the music through the static. It's all kinda weird but it works good.

 

Mine i keep a B-Boys CD in the player, and as long as my MP3 player on it works fine and dont hear the CD at all

 

I bought that USA SPEC thing for like $40 and plugged it into the disc changer plug in the back and it works on its own. No disc needed, no static

 

The static is only slightly there when the music is paused and the phone is charging. If you listen hard enough you can hear the music in the static. With the Silent CD there is no static. Only cost like $5 in parts, granted you have to know how to solder and what they heck you're hooking to, that shit is small!
